  • Supervise all production activities in a 20,000 ft2 automobile collision repair facility

Job Description

  • Responsible for hiring and supervision of all metal collision repair, paint, and detailing teams.
  • Must hold customer satisfaction and quality to the highest standard while maintaining respectable cycle times
  • Work closely with service advisors to ensure complete disassembly of vehicles to ensure accurate estimates and prior to start of repairs
  • Support service advisor team to document supplemental estimates
  • Manage daily production release meetings
  • Control and schedule production flow to optimize productivity and quality
  • Hold monthly meetings with production and service advisor team

Requirements

  • 5 years collision repair production management experience in a DRP shop
  • I-CAR certification highly desirable
  • Committed to continuing safety and technical education

  • Detailing cars for delivery including buffing, polishing, washing, and interior/exterior plastic and tire cleaning
  • Assist estimators with R&I inspections
  • Maintain clean driveway and front office exterior

Master Auto Paint Technician

Job Description

  • Perform highest quality paint preparation and application while ensuring KPIs such as cycle time and labor hours/day are met
  • Inspect repaired vehicle and plan paint process
  • Coordinate with approved paint supply vendors to recommend and purchase paint tools and products
  • Refinish surfaces prior to painting using hand and power tools
  • Mask surface in preparation for application of paint. Perform simple R&I as required to facilitate masking
  • Mix and prepare paints per OEM color specifications and OEM blending formulas
  • Match vehicles original paint using Spies Hecker color matching equipment or equivalent
  • Operate paint booth and supervise maintenance
  • Effectively mentor and direct the work of an apprentice

Requirements

  • I-CAR certification in waterborne solvents highly desirable
  • Committed to continuing safety and technical education
  • 5 years on-the-job experience (or equivalent)
